Octagon Lick Mat

Lick Mats have been proven to reduce stress and anxiety. I would give my dog one after our walk in the morning because when we got home, although we went for a long walk, he was physically tired but mentally he was still at a level 7. The lick mat would soothe him and then he'd take a nap which would allow me to get some work done :-) So if you find that you're walking your dog but he/she still seems to be amped up when you get home, a lick mat will help. I've never used it as a slow feeder so I can't speak to it's effectiveness with that (I used the UFO slow feeder which was a God send) but the lick mat definitely helped by freezing peanut butter, pumpkin puree, yogurt and sprinkling treats on the top.
